    You don't need to submit any paperwork, however, it is advisable to keep records of your contributions and calculations, just in case there are any questions.

    According to your payslip above workplace pension contributions total £19,877.97 not £16,539.74. ? 
  • And the op hasn't mentioned their company benefits or other tax free allowances so any calculations are not going to tell the whole story.

    Although the employer pays the pension over to the pension company to the following month you have had tax relief on 3727 in March 2021 so it is not accounted for in the new tax year. Imagine that this was your last payslip on ceasing employment - it would not be possible to get any tax relief in the new tax year. 
    Also the difference between the amounts above is 3338.23 not 3727. Perhaps there is a timing difference at the beginning of the tax year.?  I suggest that you look into this.

    i've logged in and requested a certificate of contributions for 19/20 and 20/21 to double check the figures. thanks for pointing this out. (its a minefield)
