Nationwide and old payday loan on credit report please help

I am looking for some advise as my anxiety is through the roof after reading so many different advise on the forums
Me and my boyfriend have just had an offer accepted on a £210,000 property we are looking at a 75% LTV (£52500 deposit)
My boyfriends credit is fantastic- he has previously had a mortgage, the property this is currently being in the process of being sold. I have never had any defaults and paid previous credit cards off ect I only have £8000 for my car finance (£260 a month) and my boyfriend as £70 in total a month for finance which is due to be paid of next month anyway. I stupidly not knowing the future impact took 8 PDL out whilst I was at uni (2017-2018). The last one was taken out and paid in May 2018 nearly 3 years ago- they were all paid on time. These are not showing on my experian or Equifax credit reports only transunion- my credit score is currently high on all 3 providers.
2 days ago we applied for a mortgage through Nationwide for a 5 years fixed rate with 75%LTV we have done this through a broker who was very positive.
I have read so many mixed responses. Has anyone been accepted by Nationwide with an old PDL on their credit report or what's the likely hood we will get accepted?
Thanks in advance

@123piper Based on the limited info in your post, I don't see anything in particular to be worried about at 75% LTV, and especially so since you've used a broker. Good luck!

Thank you very much! Its a relief to hear this from another professional!
  • I can only post on my own experience, so take it with a pinch of salt.

I had various pay day loans from 2015 to 2017. Like you, I was very stressed and wondered if any High Street lender will even consider me.
Turns quite a few high street lenders were eligible for me (I used a mortgage broker to find this out).

I then applied for a mortgage with Barclays, submitted my documents and they have now approved my application (subject to valuation.)

However, this isn't to say that will be the case for everyone. I THINK you should be fine, but it usually depends on each lenders criteria (which is why it's good idea for people like me and you to get a mortgage broker).

Good luck! I'm sure you will be fine :)
