Reed - reference

Just wondering if by any chance anyone has a contact telephone number, to obtain a reference from Reed the recruitment agency?
My partner has a conditional offer for a job in a police force and all he is waiting for now is the reference check to be finalised. He has worked for a bank for the last 3 years, but was employed as agency staff through Reed. 

They initially responded to the request (after a few weeks) from the police force but they provided an incorrect start date. 

The force’s HR team went back to Reed but it’s now been 2 weeks without reply and it’s holding up his start date.  

I have searched online but cannot find a number which is relevant. My partner was only provided with an email address from Reed. 

Thought it was worth a shot to post on here in case anyone has been in a similar situation.

Have you tried contacting the local office that were handling this job?

If you google on 'Reed' you get contact numbers for each of their offices. Central number appears to be 0845 287 0788

Thanks both - I found a generic contact form on one of their sites and they have come back to me with a number
