Hi guys
I currently have an application in with TML due to some adverse credit in the past. All paid and settled longer than 3 years ago.

I am a first time buyer and I have successfully applied for HTB obviously on a new build property. My valuation was carried out last week. Today my MB called saying that there had been a mix up by the surveyor regarding a warranty issue from the developer. My MB contacted TML and they say that they accept this warranty. Has this Happened to anyone else??? I’m sorry, I tend to overthink EVERYTHING I just thought the valuation was one bit of the process that I didn’t need to worry about!!!
Thanks in advance

@tjw22 Sorry it isn't clear what's happened here. Do you know the name of the warranty?
The lender will have a list of acceptable warranties and they will normally not go outside that list.
Afaik, Help2Buy requires there to be a warranty but relies on the lender to make sure that it is an "adequate" one.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
