Change of Main Residence - Scotland to England

in Cutting tax
Hello,
Looking for some advice on change of address implications.
I own a property in Scotland which I have used as my main residence since purchase in 2012. My job means I am in London 80% of the time and my partner (we are not married) owns a property in London which is where I stay.
I am minded to change my main address to London, primarily for the tax benefit of being a higher earner (41% bracket in Scotland) and so I can register at a local GP practice. I spend most of my time in London so seems the right thing to do.
There is very limited information online with how my mortgage provider will view this. Does anyone have experience and can advise? I understand there will be CGT to consider if and when I sell my property, albeit I will benefit from some relief.
Any guidance on where I should go for advice would be really helpful.
