Question on Expenses - cash

Options
I am filling out cost of living expenses & I have direct debits for things like mobile and gym etc. I spend around £175.00 a week on Petrol, food/drink/booze , takeaways, tobacco, toiletries, newspaper/ lottery parking & train tickets, but I have always tended to mainly pay for these with cash for these each week as this is how I have always budgeted  & I will pay for these all in one go. Will this be a problem as most of these expenses are not on my card?

Have you filled in a SOA?
This will show how much you spend on items irrespective of how you paid.
The examiner will usually go through your bank statements to see if anything jumps out. You just need to be honest and explain.
If it would help pop your SOA on here and we can have a look

I suggest starting to keep receipts, just in case you are asked to provide these to support the cash payments.

If all these are cash payments, I highly advise you keep receipts. I've had to show receipts for fuel, parking etc..

    Please post a SOA..
