I've noticed various questions cropping up over the months on DBS checks, sometimes getting contradictory or inconclusive answers.

This site appears to have extremely well informed and accurate information and might be useful for anyone wanting to know more about the various types of DBS check, what each will disclose, when convictions are spent etc: https://hub.unlock.org.uk/knowledgebase/spentposter/
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
