I just wanted to say these are great straighteners.
I've had mine for a while now and now my little sis wants some.

Are these better than the GHD ones?

I've never tried GHD's before so cant say.
These are great on my really long, thick curly hair.
I am going to get them for my sis and keep the hairdryer for myself.

Just been looking for straighteners (not for me) and found that these are still cheapest in Argos - now £37.49, not marked as special offer - two quid cheaper than the non-elegance version which are 'reduced' by £19! And substantially cheaper than Tesco Direct, whom are selling them at £74.98 !! My other half is sure it's a mistake!

I have these straightners and agree they are good but does anyone else find sometimes they make the top layer of your hair stand out? i've reduced the temp and it's helped a bit but annoys me. Also, my hair smells of burning after - i think i must need to turn the temp down??

These are still showing online at £74.98, have they changed it or is it poss in store only?
  • They must have changed it.... It was definitely on the website, as I reserved mine that way.

Not sure if this is the same model, but, I purchased these from Amazon about a year ago, currently £29.49 and they are EXCELLENT!!!
