Block Mascara?

I keep having spasms of looking for this and it's either black - very expensive - or unobtainable.

I need some Dark Brown.

Use it to colour my old eyebrows, no one told me the difficulties of white eyebrows in old age!

I've used a soft hair dye on them in the past but  and in normal times I swim 3 times a weeks and its a pain to keep redoing, the block mascara gives a soft and natural look without going through all the palavar of colouring.

I wondered if anyone else used it or knew of a reliable supplier who did?

Or, any secret method of making some?

I'd be really grateful, mine got knocked on the floor a few times and is now in thin bits I have to chase to use.

I'm in my late 60s and don't think I ever used it but remember my Mum using it.

I'd found those sites before and the first wasn't in stock for brown. Still isn't. It's a tough colour to get.
The second I couldn't find the delivery price for so that's great. Cheap enough to try the small size.
Any sort of colouring or staining washes off with make up removal etc and mascara wands tend to have bits lodged in your eyebrows.  Then I found an old one of these of my mothers and perfect and natural. You could buy them online from major companies until a couple of years ago.

Heck I'm going nowhere I need make up for months. But it's good to be prepared

I remember using this in my teens in the 60s.  It took forever to put on and wasn’t even remotely waterproof.  It was very common to spit on it, not very hygienic.  I didn’t realise you could still get it.

My brows and lashes are so sparse now (according to my GP this is probably the result of a very serious illness a few years ago) that I don’t bother with mascara or brow pencil.  My husband says I am beautiful without it.  Bless him, I’m 68 and we’ve been together 25 years.
