Just watching Martin's show on ITV. Did I hear rightly that if you have a Uni student living with you (our daughter was supposed to be living away for the lastyear) that you could claim something back? Tried rewinding, but not yet on catch up. Thank you.

If, ignoring the student, there is only adult left then a 25% discount applies otherwise there would ordinarily be no discount.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.1 -
