My Husband has his own property that is still mortgaged, what happens to the property on death? He did have insurance on it but no longer has it. Should we re insure it ?

Does he have a will or is he relying on the rules of intestacy?0 -
Do you want to ensure the property can be retained in that event, or would you be happy to see it sold to pay off the mortgage?
