Hello,
I'm in need of some help and advise if possible.
In 2006 I took out a 100% interest only Mortgage with an unsecure loan as advised at the time by the Mortgage adviser, that this option would help secure a Mortgage. In 2017 I sold the house after splitting with my wife but only managed to sell for the Mortgage value, not the loan too. The loan was for £26.647. Since then I have paid the loan on time every month, to the sum of around £38000 but still owe £19800 on this loan and set to continue paying for another 15 years at least.
The original Mortgage and loan were with Northern Rock, it then moved to Virgin and now sits with Landmark. I have spoken to Landmark who are unwilling to help in anyway by reducing the APR or anything else. I know it was very silly signing up to this deal, but at the time being in the Military and having very little knowledge of what I was signing up to, I put my trust in the Mortgage advisor.
Can anyone offer any help or guidance of how I can start to get this debt paid off faster?
Thank you
Chris

Pay it off faster by paying more every month. You're well out of time for a complaint about miss-selling so I don't really have any other suggestions to force it through unfortunately.
