Porting mortgage / shared ownership

Hi All
I will be contacting nationwide to look at my options anyway but was wondering if anyone knew the answer....
I have a mortgage with Nationwide but am looking at porting it to a new property. Would I be able to do this with a shared ownership or is there more to it if I would be moving it to a property I only have a shared ownership on?
I don't currently have shared ownership.
Thanks
