Loan company won't let me pay loan off?
A few years ago I took out a loan with creation finance. Everything was fine but now with around 18 months left I'm in a position to pay it off and I'd like it gone ASAP. The problem is their website won't accept payments, their bacs details don't work and they won't accept payment over the phone. I'm pretty sure I'm well within my rights to pay it off as when I log into my account it offers me a settlement figure but if you try and pay it the Website just crashes.
It appears I'm not the only one with this problem and it's been going on for a very long time.
Does anyone have any advice?

Give them a call. They most certainly can take payments over the phone as I made an overpayment to a creation loan account 2 weeks ago over the phone with a debit card. The Online Account manager can be a bit flaky from time to time... but whenever I’ve had problem with crashes, deleting cache and cookies from the browser and then logging back in usually does the trick.
Really strange that Bacs isn’t working for you - what does your bank say is the problem?0 -
Thanks, my banks says it can't match the bank details to the account name. I've double and triple checked that the details are correct. I did actually phone them last week but she told me she couldn't take the payment. I'll call them again tomorrow! Thanks0

Be the same bank details as for your normal monthly payment. Settlement figures are normally quoted in writing. Ring and request one.0

Thank you. Believe it or not I have rung and requested them 3 times and they've even emailed me the details. My bank won't let the money go. If you Google creation finance and read the reviews there are lots of people with the same problem. I'll phone then again today.0

Make sure you have some kind of record and evidence of all this as it might be useful later if the problem persist and you have to make a complaint.0

Have you tried calling your bank and getting customer services to do it? You should be able to get it done that way if you’re able to explain to a member of staff why there’s a difference in payee name & sort code/acc nohelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)1 -
No I haven't but that's a good idea. Thanks0
