Is it still a Final Salary scheme as most PS schemes have moved to some kind of Career Average arrangement I think? Still a fantastic deal by the way.

Thanks, it's definitely final salary pension scheme.  I don't think it's particularly unique, even though I work for the public sector.  I don't have any other pensions as I was self employed before I joined my current employer and stupidly didn't take out a private pension.   It's hard to say how much I want - as much as I can accrue by the time I retire!
