Sorry it was only me that repliee to your post.
If its a hospital radio then aim for 75% tradational, dolly parton, kenny rodgers etc, then mix in newer ones sorry the only one I can think of is Garth Brooks.
Good luck with the show. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
OK, my skeletons are out of the closet.
My name is Debra and I am a country music fan  ! (although not so much in the last few years, in my defence!)
Not everyone in hospital is of the older generation, so you will need to mix it. There is a lot of good modern country music that people don't always know is country.
My choices would be:
Dixie Chicks
Keith Urban (fit bloke married to Nicole Kidman)
Alison Krauss
Dolly Parton
Jo Dee Messina
Garth Brooks
BR549
Patty Loveless
Martina McBride
others to look out for are:
Shania Twain
Brad Paisley
Trisha Yearwood
Sara Evans
The Eagles (oh yes, they are country!)
Phil Vassar
Lonestar
Alabama
Alan Jackson
George Strait
Brooks & Dunn
Kenny Rogers
Lee Ann Womack
All of the above have different styles ranging from the real old 'the dog's dead and the wife's gawn and left me', to power-ballad divas, to bluegrass, to new modern country and a bit of rock/country as well.
hope that helps.

Thanks for your wonderful reply debs 66. I saw it before but have only just had time to do a reply. I do a 'country slot' most weeks on hospital radio and this list will be very helpful. Many I have but there's some I haven't and need to search out so thanks again, just what I wanted.:T0
