A free hold coach flat house could be categorised as a free hold flat, am I right?
No, I think by "freehold flat" they mean a freehold title to upstairs premises only, which is more of a legal problem. You're looking at buying a freehold title, under exception of the leasehold "flat" (garage) downstairs.

@jaafaar Exactly this. Freehold title to the whole block, no more than 4 garages, one garage for the flat and others leased out. Generally speaking, those are boxes that a coach-house flat needs to tick for Barclays. Since it already has a Barclays mortgage, you wouldn't expect it to fail a valuation. Good luck!

    Hi Everyone,
    An update and a question:

I went to Barclays on Friday and I applied. It passed the valuation right away even the advisor was surprised. I think because the property was already with Barclays. So, it is with Underwriter.

I gave bank statement where my deposit is. I already have deposit £2000 more than it is required. When I look at my bank statement I see that +£1500 in from my other current account and -£1000 out to the other current account (So, +500 net money received from my other current account)

My question is   does theses transactions between my own accounts  raise the alarm for under writer? (£1500 in, £1000 out, 500 net in as the result). Please note that I have no dept, credit or loan or whatever.

I already have declared all my dependent, and it passed the affordability with mortgage advisor.

Does underwriter can reduce my affordability due to dependents?

    Thanks for all your helps.

Pls note that I am applying for 90 LTV, so I think any raised flag works against me as I am pushing boundaries. However, I have excellent credit score with 5 yrs continuously employed
I cant sleep these days as you may guess :(
