Mortgage deposit into saving account

Hi everybody I was asked for a proof of deposit so I put my money in the current account and send my bank statements . My question is can I put back my money into my saving account until they will tell me we will be ready for exchange ?

This depends on how long it takes to get the money to your solicitor for exchange/completion.
How much extra interest will you earn ?
It would be very different if in a HTB ISA or LISA1
