Advice/help mortgage with a default

Hi all. So I’m currently looking at buying a house. We sold our house in august last year and have been living with my parents since. We have paid off most of our debts in the time so are in a good position but due to me being an idiot a few year ago I have a default on a cc with pra group for £2800ish that is now settled from sept 2017. My wife is on furlough still but hopefully will be back at work in may but we have seen a house we really like. We have 10% deposit already but could possibly push it upto 15% with some help from my parents. As anyone got any advice where is best to look and if there is a chance for us with anyone.
thanks in advance

@damo1983 With the limited info in your post, the satisfied default on its own *should not* be a showstopper. How much of an impact it will have on your chances/rates will depend on the rest of the picture in the background.
However, with your wife on furlough without a return date, you may struggle to find lenders who will also consider her income while on furlough.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
