Hi
can I ask re the above as I am 56 yrs old and my wife is 44yrs old and wish to know if we could get a mortgage
as we at present have shared ownership in 2 bed flat and wish to move and buy a house outside London
we have a 25% share in flat thus not sure what is value as of today

no idea. You have given little to no information. If your concern is your age then you can get a mortgage at your age. If your concern is something else then you have to be more specific with your question2

As a starting point, why not just pick any of the high st lenders and plug in your salaries etc. , and the sort of value you think you will need to borrow for the type of property you are looking at and see if that still leaves you with questions...For the value of your current flat check Zoopla or similar websites and see if you can find others near you that have sold recently...2
