It the same as everything, you can pay somebody to do things for you or you can do it yourself.
I personally think that paying somebody else 50p to walk around the supermarket picking my stuff for me is a bargain. I went to the supermarket yesterday and quite frankly would have paid for delivery or C&C if I could have got a slot.

They were doing it free and now they charge 50p for doing it, smells like 'money for nothing' to me.

yea i noticed this last time i did a click and collect a couple weeks ago from asda..... but to be honest,  i can't complain at 50p if it is a big shop.
morrisons like to charge for bags on each order which is ridiculous when you can bring own..... not very environmentally friendly either,  and they only put about 3 items in per bag!  so they get their money that way.
i know aldi are a bit of a rip off on click and collect,  think it's £4.
    not sure about others.
