It the same as everything, you can pay somebody to do things for you or you can do it yourself.
I personally think that paying somebody else 50p to walk around the supermarket picking my stuff for me is a bargain. I went to the supermarket yesterday and quite frankly would have paid for delivery or C&C if I could have got a slot.3 -
They were doing it free and now they charge 50p for doing it, smells like 'money for nothing' to me.0

Sounds like they've decided to stop subsidising peoples weekly shop to me.duncanthedog said:They were doing it free and now they charge 50p for doing it, smells like 'money for nothing' to me.6 -

yea i noticed this last time i did a click and collect a couple weeks ago from asda..... but to be honest, i can't complain at 50p if it is a big shop.
morrisons like to charge for bags on each order which is ridiculous when you can bring own..... not very environmentally friendly either, and they only put about 3 items in per bag! so they get their money that way.
i know aldi are a bit of a rip off on click and collect, think it's £4.
not sure about others.0
