Hi, I have a friend from the states who is interested in getting in to comping - does anyone know of any US forums/websites? Is it a big thing over there?

Tend to be sweepstakes over there and it's probably easier to search in the USA than over here
The rules can vary from state to state and Canada is different again
You may well have heard of the English comper that gets a mention in this article
"Every year, an estimated 55 million Americans enter some kind of sweepstakes (known as “competitions” in the UK or “contests” in Canada)."

I believe they have clubs for sweepers as well as coupon collectors
(if the media is to be believed money off coupons are really big over there)

Thanks for this mjm3346! Very interesting to know and thanks for the links. I have seen some episodes of 'Extreme Couponing' on YouTube and I am VERY jealous of how big a thing it is over there!!:money:1

Very jealous that we can barely use one coupon over here, with so much small print that it isn't valid for whatever reason. Yet they can use hundreds in one go and sometimes even get the store to owe them money! Great as a customer but probably not if you own the stores.
I just had a quick search on Facebook and there are quite a few groups for Comping in America. I searched 'Sweepstakes USA'
This looks quite useful and lists 5 different sites: https://www.qualitylogoproducts.com/blog/online-contests-sweepstakes-lists/
I wish your friend the best of luck!
You could also send them links from here, that are for worldwide comps.Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.1 -
Thanks so much Ms_Dee! I never thought to look for Facebook groups, that's quite ideal! And yes, I will search for the worldwide comps on here and forward them on:money:1
