Barclays Solar Reclaim

in Loans
Hi.
We had solar panels fitted in 2014 for £11500 (28 panels on a three phase system). Although the feed in and export tariffs never quite covered the cost of the loan, it was not that far off, especially if you took the electricity saving into account, which was substantial. We took out a loan through Barclays (via the installer, who have now gone bust) but only had the loan for a bit since I transferred it to a personal loan through my bank which was much cheaper.
We have never regretted having them installed. We only had electricity when they were fitted and they brought down the bills markedly. Even now we have gas our combined fuel bills are noticeably less than our neighbours (to the point where when I enter the amount I pay on comparison sites I am asked "Are you sure?").
Thing is, I was contacted by Barclays themselves last November saying that I may have been mis-sold. I gave them the info they asked for and am awaiting the results.
I will post back here when and if I get anything but has anyone else got anything back in this, or a similar situation?

I'm not sure where "mis-sold" would come into this, you borrowed the money for a purpose and used it to pay for that, you then transfered it to a personal loan. By your own admission the work appears to have paid for itself.
I wouldn't be holding my breath.0
