Nescafe Competition - Any real life winners ?

I know several people who have entered other competitions like this daily, stashing whatever required purchase is necessitated, but find it virtually impossible to ever find a bona fide winner. There is a daily win of £500, in addition to the £30K salary draws, so surely there must be a regular comper somewhere who wins. I emailed the company just to check if there was a rule i'd missed about being disqualified if entries seemed excessive, or suspect, and received a response that basically reiterated the rules, saying that as long as there is a unique code to validate each entry (plus receipt presumably upon a win).
I've noticed the same with other drink related competitions, so what do you think, is it just that more people are inclined to enter when it comes to liquid based comps? It seems very strange to me, that with so many compers, there appear to be no daily wins.

I've entered the Nescafe competition several times, but no win yet.
On Facebook, there was a photo of a shelf of Nescafe jars of coffee, with the labels peeled off. I don't know what good it would do them though, as you need to keep the receipt in the event of winning.
I haven't heard of any winners.
Good luck, hope you have a win.0 -
Last years Dorset cereal win a Tesla purchase comp finished with almost 1,200,000 entries - at the other end of the scale a comp to win a £2:50 jar of marmite used to get around 850 entries a week - ITV get over 1,000,000 entries a week
Knowing several people who have entered doesn't really count for much and the number of entrants via MSE is often only a small proportion of total entries for major competitions (and those who post about their wins are generally a much smaller number).1 -
Thank you libra10 and mjm3346. I understand that there are many entrants, not all of whom are going to post about their win, but seriously, don't you think it's strange that not one person on the two comping sites I've queried it on, has posted to say that they have had a win, or even know someone who has won? I know that a lot of the big competitions now apply winning moments, and many prizes go unwon, but according to the Nescafe site, that is not the case with this particular competition.
I, for one, will be asking for a list of winners once it's over, just doesn't seem right to me.2 -

No, not with only 1 prize per day and potentially many many many 1,000s of entries - this thread has had less than 200 views (not unique ones either) and that doesn't mean any of those translate to competition entries.
The prize fund is chicken feed as proportion of brand sales "By far most popular brand of instant coffee in Great Britain is Nescafé, with an estimated 12 million users in 2019"
EDIT
looked at the competition post on here and there are just 11 Comp-liments - that doesn't mean only 11 people entered but compared to a comp for a £1,000 M&S giftcard with 309 comp-liments it is likely to be a very small number.1 -

Assuming only 1% of the 12 million users enter the competition that's 120,000 entries so how many entries are likely to come from compers who also post about their wins? (I have seen a winners post on another site but would not have been surprised if I hadn't)0
