Need advice about company car and tax paid...

Hi. My partner has a company car and usually pays higher tax.  How can I work out the difference between having a company car and not?  The last two years we've earned just under the £50k but has a company car which has a taxable benefit of £9,306.  Can anyone point me in the right direction on tax codes etc.  Obviously I have his current one with company car but what would it be without? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Calculate his tax with his salary plus the value of the car BIK
then do the same with salary only.

As a very rough guide (which doesn't take into account pension deductions or other additional BIK)
On a salary of £50K he would pay £7498 tax
On £50K + £9306 car benefit he would pay £11218 tax
So the car is costing him £310 per month.

Many thanks, that's what I managed to roughly work out too xx
