PRA Group chasing Welcome Finance debt

Hi guys.
Another question from me, I had a loan with Welcome finance, quite a while ago, I believe the debt to be statute barred or very nearly statute barred. My problem is, I’m not 100% sure if it is or not.
There’s no record of the debt on my credit file as opening of the original account is over 6 years. I have no record of any correspondence between myself and whoever the debt recovery agency was since I included it in a DMP which I never ended up entering into in 2015
Apart from sending a SAR to PRA group, is there anyway of confirming the last contact between myself and the debt company. I don’t want to send a letter stating I believe it is statute barred and them seeing that as formal contact and resetting the 6 year rule if the last contact is not quite 6 years, if that makes sense.

I notice as I type an email as just popped up in my inbox from PRA Group in regards to this Welcome loan debt. How ironic.

I have been advised to send a SAR to PRA Group, however not to include any reference to the debt they are chasing. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a template for an SAR , I found one via ‘rightly’ which claims to do it for you via an online portal. Has anyone ever heard of this company ? Or should i send PRA an email directly0

I sent an SAR via this company. Not sure if they are any good, or if someone can provide a SAR template. As above, I was told my national debt line not to include any reference to the debt PRA are chasing. (Im trying discover if the debt is statute barred if not I believe it to be within a couple of months before it is)
