Mortgage offer conditions

Hello
I’m a first time buyer. I have received a mortgage offer with a condition that my mobile phone device contact must be paid off “using the proceeds of the advance”. Has anyone ever come across this before?
It was my understanding that the proceeds of advance must legally only pay for the house purchase.
Would it be an issue if we paid after completion using our own monies? Do they even check? How would they check?
