Platform Mortgages - release of funds..when is this?!

Hi there!
I know this might seem a stupid question but when do platform release funds? Ours were requested a week ago for completion today. Just wasn’t sure if these should be sent before or ON completion day!

Sorry I’m a worrier, I’ve heard too many horror stories!

    When we moved in October last year, our solicitor requested the funds from Platform for the Wednesday in time for our completion on the Thursday. In fact I remember us getting the call to collect the keys at 9.40am on completion day. I can only imagine our solicitor had the funds the day before. Maybe have a chat with your solicitor and ask them when they asked to have received the funds.
