What to do about Holiday pay ~ maternity leave

Hi, so i am currently on maternity leave due to end 19th April. Because of lots of various reasons i cannot return to work and will need to resign.
I emailed HR to ask about holiday pay ~ how it will be paid as a lump sum etc?
I got a email back saying they will now extend my maternity leave from 19th april - 2nd june and i will be paid full wages during this period. Should i resign in June tho i will have some of this pay taken away as Holiday year doesnt end till end July.
I am torn over which is the best option? Just quitting now and getting paid off or doing the maternity extension. Does any way or method leave me better off?

The longer you are there you accrue more holiday
extra 6 weeks gets for stat of 5.6 weeks 3.2 days more pay(if you normally work 5)
