    Wouldn't rule out leasing either, can get some cracking bargains if you're buying for the deal rather than the car, far far cheaper than depreciation, and you can keep your cash earning interest making the new car purchase appear even cheaper.

    On the basis of "you get a better deal at the end month" (is that still valid?) we are going to leave it another couple of weeks and then see what PCP deal we can get using carwow and broadspeed. 
    jjdc - I know leasing works for some but we much prefer to pay cash and then keep the car for 7-15 years. Even a PCP deal is radical for us. But I can see we are going to have to move with the times.
