Twin tub washing machine.

I am struggling to find a full size twin tub washing machine in the UK.
They are so underrated. Tween girl child ran a full bath and spent 38 seconds in it? Re-use that water.
Need to freshen up school uniform for the next day? Boom. Done it 5 mins.
I’m not a fan of front loading ones, too much water, too much electric. I quite like watching the whirlpool as they wash (strange nostalgia from having one as a child)

Used to love my twin tub back in the 70s. Could do a full week's wash for 4 of us in less than an hour. The problem now of course is that most properties don't have big enough kitchens to store them, I certainly don't!

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Hi - I have a Harris Classic full size twin tub which has been out in the shed for the last 5 years. I'm about to clean it and check it still works but I'm pretty sure it will as it did when I put it in there. I used to recycle my bathwater through it and it worked brilliantly. I have advertised it on my local Freecycle but no takers! If you want it and can collect from near Kings Lynn let me know :-)0

More eco friendly too, because first you do the sheets etc, followed by whatever needs the next temperature down and ending with the delicate things when it is cool.1 -

We had one in the 1970s. It was great. Super quick and efficient, but clothes didn't last very long. It used to just eat them. Not knocking it though. For the extra you'd spend on replacing the odd destroyed garment, you more than saved in electric costs because the wash could be completed in minutes.0
