Quitting care assistant job after 1 week

What did you expect? Caring for people with dementia is not pleasant and involves doing a lot of unpleasant tasks. Plus in this country we don't fund social care properly, so I suspect more homes are like the one you work in, than you care to admit. My aunt and uncle work in such care home and their employer treats them like s**t.As for how you tolerate s**t jobs, you do it because you need the money. I have worked shifts that destroyed my sleep patterns, worked outdoors in all weathers and have been threatened and abused by the delightful British public in multiple jobs. Non of it was fun but I had no other choice, so had to suck it up. If I won a load of money, I would tell work to go f**k itself.0
