Government Gateway - checking NI record

I've just gone to the government gateway and checked my NI record and all looks fine except this current tax year 2020/2021
It currently reads "your record for this year is not available yet"
I would expect there to be something for the current tax year (especially so as we are only about 5 weeks from it finishing).
Do others have anything showing ?

Think I had the same when I checked a few weeks ago, to be fair you may not pay NI for the rest of the year and then they'd have to calculate if you've paid sufficient, I imagine it'll update after April.2

If you want to see this tax years NI you need to look at your PAYE details and there will be a way of finding the Real Time Information (RTI) details your employer(s) have reported to HMRC, this includes the tax and NI deducted.
From May onwards the bit you are looking at will be updated once each employer has filed their final RTI report for the year.2 -
Thanks @Dazed_and_C0nfused
I've been claiming NI Credits for this current tax year (i was unemployed and receiving JSA from June 2019 to Dec 2019 then claimed just NI Credits which have continued into this current tax year).
i did look into PAYE section but nothing showing (makes sense nothing showing i suppose as DWP are not an employer).
i just thought DWP might be communicating with HMRC on say something like a fortnightly basis, so perhaps my NI record might / should be showing something by now.
i will check again end of April / May time.
Thanks once again.I have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0 -
GG does not show NI until the year is completed and reconciled which, depending on your circumstances, can be any time from roughly May to October. It does not show as you go along.
