I currently rent out my old flat which I lived in for 4 years up to May 2018. I'm in the process of seeking a possession order as I am buying a home with my partner. I'm aware that if I am able to sell the property within 3 years I can claim this money back.... But does this apply as it's a rental property not my main residence?
