Hi guys,
I know Debenhams have stopped accepting vouchers but with them now being bought by Boohoo is anyone aware whether they may start accepting the gift cards again?
We had received one for our wedding but had nothing to buy at the time and then the lockdowns came so it'll be a shame not to be able to use such an amount of money someone very kindly gifted us

Debenhams are still clearing their stock as that wasn't included in the Boohoo sale.
Once the administrators stop accepting vouchers etc they don't start again. My card holder perks lasted longer than the gift vouchers but even they have ended now.1 -
Was the gift card for more than £100? and did they pay for it with a credit card? they might be able to get their money back under section 75, but i'm not 100% sure if that works with gift cards, certainly worth looking into if it was.1
