Echo in conjunction with Lloyds chemist - collect/deliver your prescriptions

I have been on lockdown /furlough for the best part of a year. Classed as vulnerable I have been on total lockdown so I signed up to Echo, (there is an app) I connect it with my doctor surgery, list my regular meds and when they are near finishing echo sends me an email to remind me to request my prescription. I then request it through the app.  Echo request it from your GP (so no having to make calls to your Dr and wait in lengthy queues), once received Echo then post it too you. This service is also free
There are others that do this service too but I can only comment on this one as I use them

I use Boots who have a pharmacy opposite my GP, so they can go across the road should there be any errors. The service was that they kept your repeat prescription and phoned to arrange delivery . I had to do nothing, unless I wanted to change something.

It was a very good service, but they started charging £5 for each delivery or or a bargain (??) £65 for the year , so as we live quite close, my now retired husband collects for me.

I can't use Boots or any other free online service, because I take a controlled drug which has to be done on a paper prescription, so having Boots premises nearby, mean the pharmacy staff can collect that prescription.
