What exactly does your forecast say?
Was looking at nest but now thinking vanguard siip with thoughts of between £100/£200 a month deposit for 10/15 years but do have a small amount in an isa but guessing stick with a siip. 😀0 -
Hi, I think to get the full benefit of the forum's input you also need to let them know what you report as earned income, as this will inform everyone as to what 'tax back' benefit you could get by paying in what amounts into a SIPP.
For example if your earned income allowed you to get a 25% boost on SIPP contributions that were greater than you could actually afford to make from current income, then the advice might be to move some funds from ISA to SIPP each year to make up the difference and max benefit from the 25% uplift allowed. Input like that though requires knowing the parameters.
Your real life identity isn't posted up here, so there shouldn't be any real reason to be reticent (though I realise good old British reserve makes us uncomfortable about putting that kind of info out there, unlike in the Scandi countries).0
