CST LAW Letter

Hi all,
Like all others, I have also got a letter from CST and I have gone through a lot of discussions so far on this forum, following that I have raised the issue with store where I had the ticket issued by MET parking and raised it with MP as well. Store refused to help me on this and MP yet not replied. All I want to know if any body replied to CST , Filled up the form or send SAR Request. What happened after that? has anyone got reply back from CST or they ignored your SAR request and still issued Court papers? or no action has been taken after 30 days LBC letter. Can anyone share his experience please?

from all those discussions, I don't understand one thing why all the private parking companies hiring CST law only to do this LBC. (Parking eye, smart parking , MET parking and so many other) is it the only law firm in UK

No, the reason you've only read about CST Law LBCs is because you've only read threads about CST Law!

You haven't read the forum from page one and seen all the DCBLegal and BW Legal, SCS Law and Gladstones cases to name a few...!
Other robo-claim unregulated, self-styled 'debt recovery' legal firms are available on that bandwagon.

The simple fact is that CST have made a nuisance of themselves by mail bombing to 1000's of people with old tickets.  In Scotland CST has now come to the attention of the Scottish government.
CST never thought this out and their greed is now a problem for them.

Because CST have added a scam amount, they don't like being asked for their legal authority to add fakes ....... so answer their LBA with the same question.  You will see in the CST group thread, there has never been a reply.   No reply giving their legal authority means any claim must be unreliable, any fool and his dog knows that and so do CST

I doubt any of them have 'instructed' CST Law.  Check the reverse of the letter and look at who you are required to pay!  Undoubtedly this is mischief making by Debt Recovery Plus (using CST letterheads). The parking firms are no doubt aware of the stunt, and won't complain if DRP succeeds and they get some of the scratchings after DRP take their pound of flesh.

    Check the letter!

Don't give them that opportunity to delay things. You supplying a copy of your V5c is enough.

Hi there, I've spent the best part of a whole day reading all of these posts and I would really value some clarification.

I have received a £100 Penalty Charge Notice from Buzz Bingo for entering their car park - I had not realised it was controlled.

This then got passed to Debt Recovery Plus who increased it to £170.

I have now received an Unpaid Debt Reminder Notice from CST Law.

I have so far ignored all of these letters and have not acknowledged or entered into any dialogue whatsoever.

My question is, do I continue to ignore them and trust it's very unlikely it will be pursued, or should I now send a SAR to Buzz Bingo and your recommended wording about seeking Debt advice etc to CST Law?

Thank you for your help

    Yep.
or should I now send a SAR to Buzz Bingo
You won't be sending it to them. If you're sending a SAR, it needs to go to the parking firm.

This is an old thread, and not yours. Should you receive a real court claim from the Northampton CCBC, come back on a new thread of your own please. Unlikely that you will need to do that though.
