How do pay my bills with a frozen bank account

I am in the research stage of considering bankruptcy but I am worried how I will pay my bills when my bank account is frozen. My current account is a basic one anyway. Should I apply for a “spare account” before bankruptcy ? Surely that would be frozen too? I’m confused about the order in which accounts are frozen and new ones are opened ... especially if cannot get an account until I have been discharged.

Who do you bank with, as some banks are less bankruptcy friendly than other`s.
Normally a basic account will not be frozen, as you won`t have any debt with that bank.
You could pre-prepare and keep cash handy to pay bills with, just in case, its all about being well prepared beforehand with these things.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I’m with Starling Bank. Will I have to pay cash for everything until I am discharged?0

Thank you very much. I’m going to sell my car so will use that cash to tide me over.0
