NatWest - valuation to offer

Hi, I've had notification that my survey was completed on Friday, does anyone have a guide how long on average I would expect to wait till offer? Also would I be correct to believe that if the valuation has been actioned I would have passed through all the underwriting stage ?

Mine was hsbc so a different lender to you both but my offer was two days after the valuation. However it was a desktop valuation so they weren’t waiting for a report to come back from a surveyor.

Did you get a message saying that the mortgage was approved subject to a satisfactory valuation? I got that this afternoon - although we were a direct application and the advisor had spoken to me on Friday to say it was approved, the.underwriter just wanted to see one older savings statement for money laundering reasons.

I had email saying mortgage approved subject to valuation Friday morning. Friday afternoon was asked for a couple more things which I sent straight away. Had notification today saying valuation done and report received. Everything on the tracker is ticked and says we just need to asses valuation. Hoping the offer comes through soon. I applied with NatWest direct.
  • Had submitted everything to my broker L&C around 3/4 weeks ago. Didn't get a message like you did going dirext, I'm presuming (hoping 🤣) I'll be in the same boat and offer comes in this week .

Mine was about 2 weeks with nationwide but was a smallish mortgage, i think it's quicker if you use a broker?

Had my mortgage offer sent to me today.  9 days from application to offer going direct.  Cant fault them.
  • I got my offer yesterday. NatWest have been brilliant throughout, made everything easy.

My application has been about 3 weeks, had valuation done last week and the underwriter has been back and forth with broker regarding some more info, so even though you’ve had valuation there’s still more underwriting! Hopefully tomorrow I get my offer 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I submitted my mortgage application on 2nd March at 5:09 PM (I started out by filling out the DiP, and just continued with the application. I got a notification couple of hours later telling me that a valuation has been booked for 9:15 AM  on 3rd March. Got the mortgage offer notification on 3rd March at 3:59 PM. So application to offer, all was done under 23 hours!
