Considering buying a flat for our son's university years
Comments
-
We helped our daughter buy a flat in Glasgow West End when she was at Uni there, some 17 years back now. We too live locally. She still has it and rents it out now, but will sell it soon.
We found a flat where she could have one lodger,, any more then you are now into HMO land. She did a 4 year degree then PhD , and then a job locally, so was there for 9 years, and still lives in Glasgow.
Glasgow residents it seems are more likely to attend Uni in Glasgow, and remain in the area afterwards.1
