some rather nice gift sets which contain a bottle (half pint) of Stella Artois, a bottle opener and a glass, this comes in a tin with Stella Artois on the front. They're £3.99 each or 3 for £10.

B & M = Bargains and Mugs!
I'll get my coat! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -

Thanks very much! :beer:Any fool can pay full price!!0 -
I'm pretty sure B+M and Bargain Madness are different, as we have both in our town, and they look different and stock different products.0

No, really, B+M and Bargain Madness are one and the same. There is only one around where I live...and I avoided it for some time, because it's pretty tatty and the advertising is horrid (ugly fat faces gurning, saying things like "dive into a bargain" - ugh! we may like a bargain, but we don't like to be confronted with cheap behaviour!)
However! They do stock some really good things in the wines and spirits dept. I picked up a lovely bottle of Penfolds Chardonnay for £3.99 - it's £7 in Sainsburys.
And for a Christmas gift...staggered to find they had Piper-Heidsieck champagne gift buckets! For a whoopy-doo price of £10.99! Two bottles of the trendy pink 'Baby' Pipers (as swigged straight from the bottle in all the best venues), packaged with a pair of champagne flutes to drink them from, in a super clear red champagne bucket, complete with the Piper-Heidsieck insignia.
Cheers!:j0 -
