I was suppose To get married may 2020. The venue was excellent and let us move to may 2021. We had 42 guest originally now we are only allowed 30. They have said they would refund in alignment with the difference in numbers however they are now trying to change the menu and charging 17 per head more than my original price . Surely they can’t do that ? My new contract I signed when moving the date states the original pricing. Please can someone offer any advice thanks in advance.

There's no 'surely' about it. It depends on your agreement, so start by having a read of your contract.
What does it say re changes, cancellation and rescheduling?0 -
Why are they 'trying to change the menu'?
