Hi farfallina,
Yes cookie dough freezes well. I regularly freeze these: Queenie's everyday biscuits
There's an earlier thread on making cookie dough for the freezer so I'll add your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

I would love to make hot chocolate cookie dough just like they do at Pizza Hut - served in a round dish, drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
The cookie dough is soft and gooey still and absolutely gorgeous - does anyone know how to make it?
(I am drooling at the thought of it...!):jIrony.

i know that to make soft, chewy cookies the trick is to add 1 tbs of oil to the mix, does that help?0

Can't help you with your specific request, so I'll add your question to an existing thread on cookie dough - there are several recipes there. It's probably a case of experimenting until you find one you like

I've tried looking online for replicas of the Pizza Hut recipe, which is very good, and didn't get any responses which felt right - there is one suggestion for deep fat frying, which didn't seem right.
I'm going to try the recipe above. Freezing the dough seems like a brilliant idea, making it a great standby.0 -
The trick to getting chewy cookies is to undercook them. I've tried the Pizza Hut pudding and all it is really is a basic choc chip cookie dough, pressed into a bowl and then very briefly cooked. You need to remember that if it's in a hot bowl, it's going to carry on cooking whilst you're eating it so you need to adjust the baking time accordingly - same with cookies on a baking tray. There's no real 'trick' to the recipe, it's mainly just the cooking time. Commercial 'bought in' cookies doughs usually do have oil etc in them though, but a butter based homemade mix will work as well.0

I use the Hummingbird Bakery recipe for chocolate chip cookies and they're always really soft and chewy. The dough tastes yummy raw too! One day I'm going to make some vanilla ice cream and mix in chunks of cookie dough for home made Ben+Jerrys too!......0
