Why do I love mushrooms but not if they're in soups etc?

    I don't like the texture of mushrooms after they have been in the freezer.

    I'm not at all keen on tinned mushroom soup. However I dont mind dried packet mushroom soup. 
    Theres something about the texture of a tinned or frozen mushroom I really dont like.

    I have a similar issue with tomatoes - I like tomato pasta sauce, I like tomato ketchup, I like tomato 'flavour' in just about anything - but I don't like tinned or fresh tomatoes.

    There's a lot fo sugar in the things you like with tomato flavour. Tiinned and fresh are more acid.
