I hope it is not a daft question, but:
If in this financial year I opened a SIPP with Vanguard and I want to transfer it to Fidelity(due to reaching the threshold of fees), am I able to do it still in this financial year or do I have to wait until next financial year?
Thank you for your kind replies.

You can transfer whenever you like, once you have opened the Fidelity account as you initiate from Fidelity.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

You can open as many as you like and contribute to as many as you like - subject to the same total contribution limits as would apply for just one SIPP (i.e. max of salary or £40,000 if lower or £3,600 if higher - ignoring any carry forward and any other nuances)..mika_dm said:

Thank you.
I was under the impression you can open only one per financial year as ISA.
It is all clear now.0
