Pension scheme was closed

Hello I worked for Raleigh bikes many years ago and contributed to the pension scheme.  I have just reached pension age and have now found out that the Sturmey-Archer General Pension Scheme was winded up in 2004.  Is there anything I can do to get my contributions / pension?

It looks like the scheme was wound up with little or no assets, so your pension has gone, and was transferred to the PPF as a FAS.  You should have been contacted at the time but if they didn't have contact details that may not have happened.
Contact details and what to do in the link.

A quick Google tells me that the Sturmey Archer Pension Scheme was taken over by the Givernment backed FAS (Financial assisatnce Scheme) in 2004.  I suggest you contact them:

I suggest you contact former employers, insurance companies and anyone else you have pensions savings investments and give them your current address. So you get correspondence from them in a timely manner.

Also have you heard of Google all you had to do was google the name of the pension scheme it says on the first page that it is in the Pension Protection Fund.

    Take Back Control.
