I don't think I'm talking in absolutes, but apologies if I'm giving an inaccurate message. I'm just trying to use real-world figures to get a genuine picture of the actual ROI for batteries.
I'll stop using absolute terms. I just think we have a bit of a responsibility to present the truth rather than the best-case. How about we agree that *some* people can make batteries work, but that they are *unlikely* to be a sound investment for average or low users unless they can get a real bargain?1 -
I think you are right to warn of the pitfalls of batteries and in particular how they are mis-sold.
