Should I consolidate my old pensions?

Hi, I'm 25 years old. I've worked for quite a few different employers over the past decade, so I assume that I've got loads of random old penison pots to my name. Therefore, I'm thinking about consolidating them all into MoneyBox's personal pension scheme. I've done some research myself on the pros and cons of doing this, but I'm looking to see if anyone any experience of doing this before? I just want to make sure that I'm not missing anything important before pulling all of my pensions across into one place.

'Assume' ? you mean you don't know? Do you not have any paperwork ?

  • If you have had employers who only abide to the minimum workplace pension regulations then they did not have to enrol you in a pension until age 22 and had been employed by them for 3 months.

Well, I've got my payslips from the previous jobs, but they don't state who the pension provider is nor the way the find out. I don't recall getting any paperwork specific to my pension, but that was probably because I was under 22 as another commenter mentioned above.
